Mechanical Services

PPL's extensive network of local mechanical contractors reaching from Maryland to Maine offers engineering and mechanical/ electrical services for commercial, industrial and institutional customers. We have a full complement of engineers, estimators, planners, and project managers. We self-perform most of our work, drawing from an experienced work force of pipefitters, plumbers, sheet metal workers, millwrights and electricians. We operate an extensive service operation 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Mechanical Services Include:

• Engineering
  Our Registered Professional Engineers perform total life cycle cost analysis on proposed HVAC systems and formulate energy saving alternatives for consideration by our customers.

• Construction
  We perform over $400 million of HVAC, electrical, building automation, plumbing and process piping annually. Much of our work is repeat business from satisfied customers.

• Services
  Comprehensive 24-hour-a-day service and preventive maintenance assures clients of reliable and efficient operation. PPL’s ServiceSelect^sm program matches our clients’ needs to the service program that is best for them.

• Controls and Building Automation Systems
  We design and install building energy management systems for proper and efficient operation of building systems.

• Sheet Metal and Pipe Fabrication Shops
  Our state of the art fabrication facilities manufacture sheet metal and piping products for efficient installation at our project sites.
