The PPL EnergyPlus Renewables Program is all about choice.  In addition to our local and regional choices, you can also choose to help sustain existing national renewable wind energy projects. 

This choice supports existing projects and is a low-cost option that allows customers to participate by supporting renewable wind energy facilities.

Under the National Renewable Choice option, PPL EnergyPlus will purchase Renewable Energy Credits (RECs) from existing renewable wind energy sources across the United States, thus helping to assure their continued viability. 

Unlike the Renewables Program’s local and regional RECs, national RECs are not certified by the General Attributes Tracking System (GATS).
