Renewable energy generation is serious business.

That’s why the Renewables Program is encouraging small businesses to support the development of new renewable energy generation projects in and around the communities they serve. For the program, small businesses are those with facilities less than 100,000 square feet, or peak electric demand less than 500 kilowats.

As its name implies, the Renewables Program offers you several choices in renewable energy.  Your business can choose local Renewable Energy Credits (RECs), and PPL EnergyPlus will purchase local resource RECs by developing or contracting for wind and landfill gas sources in customers’ states if they do business in Pennsylvania or New Jersey. Regional resource RECs will support the development of new renewable energy projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
